Twins notice each other for the first time, mom calls it a ‘heartwarming twinteraction’

People don’t think of babies as being aware of their surroundings until after they are born, but a lot happens in the womb! Twins have a very special bond that starts forming a few weeks after conception. Often, this bond is the strongest they will ever experience in their lives. Think about it: twin babies hear the same sounds and even touch each other when they’re in the womb.

One mom filmed her twin girls interacting with each other and it’s obvious the two remember each other!

Kate, mother of Dorothy and Margot, wanted to capture her beautiful babies playing together. In fact, she even coined the adorable term “twinteraction” to describe how happy the two are to be together.

Although these sweet girls are only 11 weeks old, they go back even further when they were still inside their mommy’s belly. You know these twins will be best friends judging how excited they are to spend time together.

Did you know that 25% of twins grow to be mirror images of each other?
This phenomenon happens when the fertilized egg splits after the first week of conception. What this means is that one twin will be right-handed and the other will be left-handed. Any moles or birthmarks on one twin will wind up on the opposite side of the other twin’s body. How cool is that?

This video comes from Kate’s YouTube channel “Kate & the Twins.” If you enjoyed her video, be sure to keep up with all of their adventures as they grow up. Hopefully Kate will give us more cuteness soon!

How incredible is this story? Did you ever wish that you had a twin? Be sure to pass this video along to all of your friends to make their day!
