Executives from American Idol flew Malea Emma and her parents to Idaho so that she could sing for the judges at the season premiere of the show. Even though the judges thought the little girl was cute, they were surprised when she opened her mouth and started singing “The Star-Spangled Banner.” When the tiny performer’s confident, beautiful voice started to boom out, the judges’ jaws hit the floor.
